Asian Forum – In the beginning…

Asian Forum was first launched online back in March 10th 2004 by its founder and owner Abdul Alim also known as ‘abs’. The initial idea was to create a communication portal for both Abs and his circle of friends where they can engage in everyday group discussions. The website started off as a discussion forum for friends.

As time went by, Asian Forum had grown through word of mouth and exceeded over 1000 registered members within a year. It fast became one of the biggest and most popular Asian Online Discussion Forums in the United Kingdom. Although Asian Forum is based in the UK, the site had attracted members from all over the world.

Asian Forum grew to become a communication portal for British Asians all over the UK. It targeted mostly 18-30 year olds however it had members both younger and older than this range. Asian Forum has given the opportunity to provide British Asians with a voice, to share opinions with like minded individuals and discuss local and global issues. It offers members the opportunity to discuss private matters discreetly and confidentially.

Asian Forum – The present…

Two years on and Asian Forum has still been going strong. It went through major redevelopment back in January 2006 and was redesigned & rebuilt by Sharif Choudhury also known as ‘Reef’ . Due to redevelopment, we have lost all the archives and previous membership details therefore we require everybody to register again. Registration is FREE!

The new Asian Forum is doing extremely well. We have a new forum, a new look, new members and an amazing Admin and Moderating Team comprising of old and new members.

Our vision is simple. We want Asian Forum to grow and reach everybody in the world. We want to be at the forefront for discussion of local and global issues which affect us all as British Asians.
