I was hoping that you could help me. .

My name is Harjeet Chhokar and I am an Assistant Producer on the BBC Television series, Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, which is broadcast on BBC Three. The series is a highly popular and thought provoking television documentary that looks into the process that meat goes through before we buy it. The series' aim is to reconnect the contributors - and the television audience - with the the fact that meat comes from a living animal and take an in-depth look into the rearing, caring and, ultimately, killing and slaughter of an animal for human consumption. The programme has an intelligent foundation to it and wants to raise a discussion with its contributors regarding the many issues concerning the rearing of animals for food, as well as the impact meat has on our lives, economy and the world as a whole.

To create a fair and honest programme, I am looking for a variety of contributors from all different backgrounds and who will have a wide range of thoughts and viewpoints. We want our contributors to be intelligent and articulate, who will be able to confidently discuss their beliefs with the rest of the group. This is why I am contacting the Asian Forum. I am keen and enthusiastic to feature contributors in the fourth series that we have haven't had in the previous series.

I am keen to give you more details about the programme and it would be great to have a chat to see if you could help me. My contact number is 0207 033 2262.

Once again, thank you so much for your help.

Kind regards,
Harjeet.
