Manchester University business student Resham Khan, 21, and her cousin Jameel Muhktar, 37, were left with ‘life changing’ injuries after they were attacked in London.

The pair had been celebrating Resham’s birthday on a visit to the capital when they were sprayed with sulphuric acid as their car waited in traffic.

The brave victim, Resham Khan took to twitter to post what happened…

Police then relesed a photo of the man they want to question in connection with the attack.

John Tomlin, 24, who they wish to trace in connection with the attack, which happened at around 9.15am on Wednesday, June 21, on Tollgate Road in Canning Town, London.

He’s described as being white, around 6ft tall of stocky build with short, fair hair – and he’s known to frequent the Canning Town area.

The force is advising members of the public not to approach Tomlin, but if they see him to dial 999 immediately.
